Essmak is the perfect way for busy mothers to keep track of their kids’ belongings. It is an online platform with an e-commerce experience, where users can easily create high quality personalized name labels that are perfect for all types of belongings. Customizations can be made on many levels, colors, images, items, shapes, and content. Thanks to Essmak, now mothers can create name tags for different occasions and belongings in a fun and enjoyable way with the kids.

But Essmak did not always look like it does today after being developed by Ideatolife.

Challenge

The challenge faced by Essmak as an early startup was the technology, which was outdated and not very flexible when the designs need to be applied. The infrastructure did not allow online customizations, many errors happened in the backend, and users usually got bored waiting for images to load for preview and simply stop using the website.

Solution

After trying hard to enhance the existing website and not achieving the desired outcome, Stephanie Hannah, founder of Essmak, reached out to Ideatolife. We developed the entire website from scratch with tight collaboration with external design company chosen by Stephanie in order to deliver just what she was hoping to achieve. Our Agile development and close involvement with all stakeholders allowed us to deliver on time the best outcome expected.

Onlivery is an online delivery mobile application, where users can order from a wide variety of restaurants their favorite dishes and have them delivered fresh and tasty to their homes.  An impeccable service for the comfort of users. After this startup kicked off with booming success, and remained the leader in the market for a while, their revenue started suddenly decreasing drastically raising many question marks that caused concern of the founder.

This is where Ideatolife stepped in.

Challenge

The challenge faced by Onlivery was increasing market competition, a strong rival rose, and it was a matter of survival in a market where user-friendly experience is the essence. 

Solution

When Daniel Kofdrali, Founder and CEO of Onlivery met with us, he explained his pain to Ideatolife, and we saw that the best solution at that stage was to re-vamp entirely the frontend of the application. applying the Design Thinking methodology, Ideatolife has managed to create the touch and feel that users were looking for.

Al Wadi Al Akhdar has been a leader in the food industry ever since 1979, and the brand has created grand loyalty from customers locally as well as internationally. Their fresh and nutritious products are all over the shelves at almost every shop and supermarket, and are used in every Lebanese house’s meals and dishes.
 

Challenge:

Switching from the traditional way of reaching their customers has become a challenge for  Al Wadi Al Akhdar, as they have built their trust with their customers, they want to keep up their expectations and be closer to them at the same time. They came to Ideatolife looking for a modern way to provide a digital solution that will speak to the old clients who are loyal to their brand as well as the coming generation through a digital cookbook.
 

What was Ideatolife’s solution:

A flawless and extremely user-friendly mobile application as a cookbook that serves as a marketing tool promoting Al Wadi Al Akhdar products and bringing newest flavors to their customers. The solution comprises of the below:

Zain Group is a leader mobile telecommunication company. It recently expanded vastly as a service provider in several countries including Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Bahrain and many more … Zain Cash Agent app was designed by Ideatolife to get Zain company closer to their customers. At the same time, it offers a smooth and easy user experience which makes the whole process fast and easy.

Challenge

With over 50 million users, Zain company was looking to optimize on the operations and services offered to their clients. It faced many challenges and focused on increasing the credit card penetration in Iraq. With the help of Ideatolife, and though their design thinking lab, Zain Cash developed the ultimate solution in order to facilitate the process of mobile and electronic payments. The Zain e-wallet incorporates all the business processes used by Zain Cash, performing them in a more efficient way.

Solution

An e-wallet solution for Zain providers’ agents, allowing:

• Seamless dayto-day customer transaction performance for Cash-In and Top-Up
• Epayment of bills
• Purchase of egoods, allowing the agent to buy internet cards (like iTunes, Google Play, Xbox, … etc…) for other customers.
• Loyalty programs

Ideatolife managed to solve all the problems faced during the iteration and testing processes.

The application currently handles over 3,000 requests per second, performing more than 5 million transactions per year. It also has multiple integration systems with 3rd parties. 

World Health Organization (WHO) is a specialized agency of the United Nations and member of the United Nations Development. It is mainly concerned with international public health and is available in many countries around the world. Its main purpose is to ensure safety for all the people who need it, being in the air they breathe, the food they eat, the water they drink and the medicines they need. Ideatolife worked closely with WHO in Iraq to develop a fast, efficient and accurate data collection solution.

Challenge

The challenge is to collect millions of data records in an efficient and trustworthy way, in order to better serve the society and its needs. The notion of time was also crucial here!

Solution

A smart e-survey platform combining many tools in order to:

• Facilitate the data collection.
• Simplify the analysis process.
• Monitor the team location.
• Ensure that the survey was done in the desired location.
• Track the duration of the survey per data collector.

WHO is present in more than 100 countries and across six regions in order to ensure a good quality of life for everyone.

Quest Education is an online educational website that gives students access to educational courses and workshops for an affordable price. The courses are certified by the Cambridge Management and Leadership School (CMLS). Students can also search for other educational, cultural and academic support programs and workshops organized by QuestEducation.
After completing the program and passing their exams, students receive certificates accredited by the CMLS.

Challenge

The challenge is to operate a platform that includes an online as well as an offline education academic support. Quest Education’s online courses are provided through Cambridge University. As for the offline center, they provide academic support, workshops and trainings.

Solution

Starting with design thinking, Ideatolife created a platform combining many tools in order to help students:

U-Burger enables users to either choose from the most recent top 5 items, the fixed menu, or customize their own and give it a name. In addition, clients can reserve a space to dine in while ordering ahead of time. Once the order is almost ready, customers are notified so that they come to dine in without having to wait for the food! 

Challenge

U-burger was looking for a truely unique and memorable experience for their customers in order to differenciate them from all their competitors.

Solution

With its human centric approach to creating new experiences, Ideatolife’s design thinking team worked on a fun and experience-oriented solution. 

The app allows the customers to: 

• Customize & order their special burger online with no hassle at all
• Pay for the order online using different payment methods
• Share their special burger with their friends

Skrambler is a student cost saving platform that aims to empower the middle eastern community mainly. It provides discounts at students’ favorite restaurants, tickets for popular shows and sometimes gives them the chance to meet their idols or influencers based on what they are interested in.

The story

At the age of 16, when most of the students still earn money from their parents, they start feeling like they need to go out and discover more things around them. Thus, it is essential for them to enjoy some activities while socializing with their friends. This platform is what they - all the students -  need in order to reach their saving plan while enjoying new experiences.
